1. My school has a rich library. Students and teachers of the school can borrow ( e h ) books from the library. A student can borrow one book at a time for a week. If he has not finished the book in a week, he can get it reissued for another week. If a student does not return the book on the due date, he is fined forthe delay .

2. My school library is located (fiera) in a big hall. It contains a large number of books on various (af) subjects. There are books in English, Hindi, Urdu and Bengali. The books of different languages are kept separately (अलग-अलग) There is a catalogue (पुस्तक-सूची) which contains a list of all the books in the library. When a student wants to borrow a book from the library, he writes the name and number of the book on a piece of paper. Then he drops the slip into a box. He can get the book next day. A teacher of the school is incharge of the library. He opens the library in the recess (a a) The students of different classes can borrow books from the library on different days.

A section of the library serves as the Reading Room. It contains some newspapers and magazines. Students can read them during the recess. They are not allowed to talk while reading them.

3. The library is very useful for the students and teachers of my school. It is a storehouse (TSR) of knowledge. It gives the students an opportunity (3792) to widen (as their knowledge. The aim of education is to create a thirst (A) from knowledge. The education which is limited to the text-books only is useless. The school library plays an important role in the mental development of students. It enables them to read a large number of books. It gives them an opportunity to form the habit of reading.

My school library is a boon ( ) to the poor students of the school. The poor students who cannot buy their textbooks borrow them from the library. The library has a separate section in which the text books are kept. Some poor students of the school can borrow their textbooks for the whole year.

4. My school library is very useful, but it needs improvement (FET). Many books of the library are damaged. They should be replaced immediately. As the library opens in the recess only, many students fail to get books. It would be better if the library were to remain open in the evening also. The Reading Room is not spacious (Forecca). There should be a large Reading Room. New books should be added to the library every year.

5. Though my school library has some shortcomings (afun). it enriches (GIA ) the knowledge of students. It has enabled us to form the habit of reading. We look upon it as our best friend and guide (पथ-प्रदर्शक).
